Job Summary:
In this role you will be a site-based Plant fitter that will be responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of a train unloading conveyor system and associated plant equipment.

Responsibilities include:

Perform servicing and repairs to plant equipment.

• Carry out works in line with company policies and procedures and in accordance with Company and Manufacturers Service Schedules and comply with the Company’s Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures.
• Be able to diagnose faults on conveyor systems and mobile plant.
• Carry out mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and any other repairs on vehicles and plant.
• Complete relevant paperwork such as service sheets, maintenance logs and time Sheets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

The successful candidate will be an experienced Mechanical Maintenance fitter with experience of equipment such as: conveyor systems, bucket elevators, wheel loaders (Volvo), and forklifts.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
– Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
– Knowledge of mechanical principles and basic maths for measurements
– Ability to fabricate and assemble components accurately
– Experience working with sheet metal is preferred
– Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
